The next nearest airport is in Kosice about two hours drive away. Because this is a larger airport than Poprad there are more scheduled flights with a lot more operators www.airportkosice.sk
Another international airport in Slovakia is in the capital itself, Bratislava. www.airportbratislava.sk . Virtually all UK airports have scheduled flights to here, with a much broader timetable and flight plan. Unfortunately Bratislava is just over four hours drive away but there is an option to catch a transfer flight to Poprad from here.
